Is 'Avatar' really the biggest movie ever?

Avatar won $ 1.85 billion breaking the record set by "Titanic" in 1997. Avatar won so much by opening in late 2009 catching holiday crowds before sitting unchallenged in cinemas throughout January. The movie maker who put the worlds biggest maritime disaster on screen is now back with 12-foot-blue skinned aliens in 3D.
