Divers find U.S. soldier's in Afghanistan river

Military divers found a U.S. soldier body they say this man went missing last week. Paratroopers are still looking for another soldier who was lost at the same time. Both men disappeared in the Morghab river close to the border with Turkmenistan. The soldier jumped into the river to save another man but he jumped to save his brother. " I raised him with the understanding that when you choose to do something, you do it to the best of your ability" said his brother.

Pakistan's Military Claims Taliban Stronghold.

Summary

Pakistan's military said on Tuesday that its forces had taken over a Taliban stronghold in the region of South Waziristan. Pakistan forces have secured the area of Sararogha and started to clear the area of weapons and ammunition. They have also gained control of Kaniguram. 21 militias and 1 Pakistan soldier died when they have been fighting for 24 hours in Sararogha. Pakistan's leader Hakimullah Mehsud is still in the region backed up by 8,000 militant soldiers. More than 180,000 people have been taken out from their town by the Taliban's offensive.The taliban atacked the cities of Lahore and Rawalpindi with suicide bombs which killed 30 people. Hours later two suicide bombers detonated their explosives near a police checkpoint and injured 17 cops and civilians.
